During this new time of COVID-19, the health and safety of the MES family is always our first priority. As we begin to move forward in a world that has significantly changed of coronavirus, MES has developed and adopted new standards in line with current CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

Keeping MES Teams Safe

MES teams around the world have been working remotely for the past few months and our offices have been closed to the public. When we re-open, our offices will:

  • Employ social distancing standards for all staff and visitors.
  • Conduct daily sanitization of workstations, common areas, and restrooms per CDC recommendations.
  • Require staff to wear a cloth mask while on-site and have their temperature taken before entering the office.
  • Conduct meetings remotely when possible to minimize contact with coronavirus.
  • Post reminders for staff and visitors about hand hygiene best practices, how to minimize transmission of coronavirus, and symptoms of COVID-19 and what to do if you think you are sick.
  • Encourage staff to stay home or work remotely if they are not feeling well.

Keeping MES Clients Safe

When MES teams are working with exiting and prospective clients, they will continue the same safety precautions and procedures that we use in-house to minimize risk for everyone. In addition to these practices, you can expect to see:

  • MES technicians, engineers, and other team members who work on client properties wearing masks, maintaining social distancing standards, performing regular sanitization of tools, equipment, and work stations, engaging in more remote communication, and other safety standards, as applicable to the project.
  • Staff members conducting coronavirus screening before you enter our offices. We ask that clients and visitors answer screening questions, have their temperature checked, and wear a cloth mask before entering the office. We will provide disposable masks for those who have not brought one of their own.
  • Remote meetings, presentations, and communications when possible. When meetings must be conducted in person, we will employ social distancing standards and other safety protocols in line with CDC recommendations.
  • Our continued dedication to delivering the best customer experience possible and going beyond expectations with every interaction.

The world in which we live and work may seem different now that coronavirus is a part of our everyday routines, MES wants to do our part in helping safeguard the health of our extended family of staff and clients worldwide.

Rest assured we are keeping up with new developments and recommendations for workplace and personal safety and will adjust our approach when necessary. Until then, we are eager to get back to work and help commercial property owners, managers, and developers like you rethink your approach to energy in the new coronavirus economy.
