KIPP Liberty Academy Parent

“KIPP has done some amazing things to motivate, energize, and empower my daughter to be what it is that she wants to be.”

KIPP Sunrise Academy Parent

“We are happy to be part of KIPP Sunrise. They have opened their doors and we have loved everything they’ve given to us – love, care, and dedicated teachers.”

No Cost to Apply or Attend

KIPP schools are free, public charter schools. There is no cost to apply to, or attend our schools.

Teachers Available by phone or text

KIPP Miami teachers are available by phone, text, or email throughout the day and into the evening so that parents can always get in touch and receive updates on their student’s progress.

Support To and Through College

KIPP Miami will continue to grow to educate students in all grades by 2029. Our support doesn’t end until their college graduation day. Our KIPP Through College team supports placing students in colleges that fit them, then supporting them through college.

Longer School Day and Year

School days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:45 am – 4:00 pm, and 7:00 am through 1:30 pm on Wednesday, in addition to select Saturday school. The school year runs from August to June.

Community Schools

We work with parents and community leaders to ensure our schools are community schools. As part of the We Rise Education Village, students will have access to extra-curricular activities with partner organizations.

Fun! And Whole-Student Learning

Academics are important, but we also want our students to experience the arts, sports, and interest clubs. In class and in school, we work hard, but we have a lot of fun learning.

We Rise Education Village

“We are proud to have KIPP as a partner in the We Rise initiative. By focusing on the advancement of education, we have set a standard for excellence and achievement that pushes others to strive for the best—for themselves, for their children and for their neighborhoods.”
– T. Willard Fair, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc.
